To me, it's a nice alternative to a photograph. It gets people thinking. They always ask what it is and I have to coach them on how to look at it.... to look at the space, not the wood.... and usually, all of a sudden... BLAM!  It POPS out at them. Sometimes they even jump back!

Once you get it, you get it forever. Then you never look at the wood again. You always look at the space. You have created a new perspective...a different way of looking at something.
